Early childhood services are a point of reference for many family and community needs that, in a circular manner, by finding a positive response, significantly impact the well-being and growth of children. The social complexity we are currently experiencing requires the ability to initiate innovative community care processes to develop collaborative networks that, through listening and engaging with the territory, promote dimensions of well-being (as a good life) and well-ness (balance between mind and body, system and environment). From this positive tension originate projects and experiments that transform territories into “social creativity laboratories” with thoughts and ideas always in motion.
With the collaboration of our pedagogists, educators, and external experts, we offer experiences aimed at reconciling work-family time for adults, implemented during our nursery school opening hours, but also weekend experience opportunities for local families. The proposals have a strong interconnection with the pedagogical project we carry out in the nursery schools we manage, as they delve into fundamental aspects of the child’s well-being and growth. We also ask experts who collaborate with us to adhere to our child protection policy, Child Safeguarding System – Child Safeguarding Policy.
The internal projects for the services we have proposed are:
- Music Course, to offer children an intense sensory and expressive experience, an experimentation of music far from performance and rather connected to research, discovery, exploration, listening, and emotion.
- Circo-motricity Experience which is a proposal for psychomotricity applied to circus arts, intended for preschool children.
- Ecquaticity, which is a proposal for psychomotor education in water to encourage free and spontaneous expression of the child through movement and play in an environment different from their daily surroundings.
- Pet Therapy Course: the involvement of animals can make a positive contribution to the development of children’s cognitive abilities, as animals act as a catalyst of interest for children; to the development of motor and general care activities.
- Evenings for Mum and Dad: evening return appointments to the nursery for enrolled children and their siblings, to have a special experience and allow parents to have some time for themselves.
For local families on weekends we offer:
- Prenatal Yoga, a course dedicated to expectant mothers starting from the second trimester of pregnancy, to carve out the possibility of living their condition with greater physical, perceptual, and mental awareness.
- Mom-Baby Yoga, where the woman’s yoga practice is enriched with small sequences dedicated to the little ones, to offer them opportunities for sensory and proprioceptive experimentation.
- Psychomotricity Course, meetings with games and free-body activities and the use of equipment, such as hoops and balls.
- English Course, a workshop pathway to offer children the opportunity to listen to the sounds of a language they do not speak and do not hear spoken around them, English.
- Family circus: Clownery, Juggling, Equilibirism, in a version readapted to the skills of children aged 4 to 10, merge the playful dimension with the educational one in an experience shared with their reference adult.
It is precisely in the dimension of play that children have the opportunity to experience activities that stimulate their growth.
Birthday Parties
The party program is designed together, responding to the requests and age of the birthday celebrants, proposing materials such as leaves, twigs, bark, pinecones, and recycled items, thereby minimizing resource consumption. Participants contribute to their search and collection. For this reason, we have equipped some of the nursery schools (and their gardens) and the Chiaravalle Mill.
