Spazio Stella - Experimental Center for Families and the Territory
Spazio Stella is a multi-purpose center for families and the territory, managed under concession from the Municipality of Cologno Monzese by Koinè Cooperativa Sociale. The center aims to be a place for socialization and participation for families with children aged 0 to 6, a space to play, have fun, and build relationships, accompanied by educators. Inside Spazio Stella, families find qualified support staff to provide information regarding the 0-6 territorial services and discuss doubts and concerns related to parenting.

Who it is addressed to
Spazio Stella offers play and relationship experiences for families with children aged 0-6 and also aims to be an integration into the network of municipal early childhood services.
When it is open:
“LET’S PLAY TOGETHER” for children aged 12 to 36 months who are not yet attending an early childhood service. A space to experience initial autonomy without parents and in preparation for starting preschool. The service is paid, open from September to June, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
“STORK SPACE” Meetings on weaning, sleep, motor development, breastfeeding, infant massage, and much more with the childcare nurse Giorgia Lemmi. Addressed to all mothers with children aged 0 to 6 months. Open for free every Thursday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM starting from October 30, 2025.
PLAY SPACE 1,2,3 STAR Three free afternoons of meeting and socialization addressed to families with children aged 0-6. The children will be able to play in a space that is well-kept and specially designed for them. Adults will be able to meet, get to know other families, and talk with the educators. Open every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, without reservation.
“RIGHTS DESK” a free initial guidance desk on the rights of the female and male worker, family law, and tenancy law with registered lawyers. Every Tuesday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, by reservation, starting from December 3, 2024.
EXPLORING NATURE multimedia workshop. Through a combination of hands-on activities, photography, and multimedia production, the workshop aims to introduce children aged 2 to 6 and accompanying adults to the natural world in an engaging and creative way. Dates scheduled Saturday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM on October 18, 2025, March 7 and 28, 2026. Online booking.
INFANT MASSAGE The infant massage cycle is led by the childcare nurse Giorgia Lemmi and is addressed to parents with children aged 0 to 8 months, on the following dates: October 27, November 3-10-17-24 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. By reservation.
MEETINGS FOR NEW PARENTS Five thematic meetings curated by Giorgia Lemmi, childcare nurse, Thursday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- September 18: Complementary feeding: between “traditional” and baby-led weaning
- September 25: Infant sleep: physiology and strategies
- October 9: My baby: developmental stages and motor development
- October 16: Breastfeeding and returning to work
- October 23: Babywearing: the contact that nourishes.
