The idea of 360° sustainability—environmental, social, and economic—underlies all our actions, services, and projects. The three dimensions of sustainability, considered in a synergistic and systemic relationship, are made concrete in the cooperative’s daily choices toward all its stakeholders (members, clients, families…) , conceived from a perspective of equity, social commitment, care, and attention to the needs of the individual, the community, and the environment.
In fact, we design and implement activities and services to promote the well-being of individuals and the community with a focus on cohesion and social impact.
We work in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of Agenda 2030 to play our part for a fair, sustainable, and livable planet for us and for future generations.
In particular, we prioritize the following Goals:
- Goal 3: Health and Well-being
- Goal 4: Quality Education
- Goal 5: Gender Equality
- Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
- Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
- Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
- Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
- Goal 13: Climate Action
- Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions

Environmental Sustainability
CLEAN ENERGY: For several years now, we have chosen to use 100% electricity from renewable sources in our headquarters offices and in all services where we manage the utilities. In 2024, we therefore avoided the emission of 54 tons of CO2.
ZERO WASTE: We reduce the waste produced by favoring the use of durable materials over single-use plastic. Thanks to the “Plastic-free nurseries” project in Vimodrone, we saved 72,500 disposable diapers by choosing to use washable ones.
SUSTAINABLE PAPER: We have introduced FSC-certified paper, sourced from sustainably managed forests, for both office reams and towel dispensers.
CLEANING: We use EU Ecolabel detergents and sanitizers, the European Union’s ecological quality mark.
DIGITALIZATION: By digitizing some of the forms used in our services, we have reduced paper consumption, thus saving raw materials and avoiding waste production.
SMART WORKING: In 2024, we avoided the emission of 10.71 tons of CO2 by reducing home-to-work travel.
Social Sustainability
For us, social sustainability means, above all, promoting the well-being of and responding to the needs of all our stakeholders (members, families, children, adolescents, students, clients…)*.
MEMBERS: 364 people, 97% of the social body is composed of women*.
WORK-LIFE BALANCE:
- Conciliation Desk to find solutions to reconcile employees’ life schedules with the cooperative’s production needs.
- Remote work and smart working to offer our staff the possibility to better balance work and family commitments.
- Reversible part-time to guarantee members the option of a temporary reduction in working hours to meet contingent family needs.
- Training and requalification to guarantee training and requalification paths for all staff following periods of absence related to maternity.
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE CLIENTS: We are present with our services in over 100 municipalities in Lombardy and collaborate with numerous private companies and foundations.
USERS: 34,140 people reached with our services during 2024*.
Economic Sustainability
For us, economic sustainability primarily means guaranteeing employment for all working members and consequently promoting the values of the social economy in the territories where we operate, thanks also to the cooperative’s employment impact.
